Sun shines on School Golf Club

With a damp start to the year looking as though it is behind us, the School's Golf Club is starting to become a hive of activity with golfers young and old taking to the 9 hole course. Located within the School’s 144 acres, the par 30 course is ideal for players of all abilities with open fairways and short holes for beginners as well as more challenging holes. The daunting 6th will challenge any golfer to hit the green in one and the short par 4 fifth will encourage players to drive the green and be careful not to drift out of bounds.

Chris Rogers, Sports Centre Manager and Club Coordinator commented ‘with a lot of work going into the course over the past 12 months it is looking at its very best. It’s a great course for beginners or players looking at keeping their eye in. It only takes an hour to play the course and is ideal for an evening after work or a weekend pursuit with family and friends.’

The Club operates a first come first serve policy for members and has a limited membership of 100. Membership is £125 from January to December but a special offer of £75 for the remainder of the year if you join before Sunday 17th July. Junior and Family membership is available.
