Lower School Contribute to Operation Christmas Child

Lower School pupils and staff have been busy filling boxes to be sent around the world.

As part of the annual support to Operation Christmas Child, during the last few weeks Years 3 to 8 pupils and their families have been gathering gifts and decorating shoe boxes. The Lower School pupils efforts are being complimented by other Senior School pupils who are ensuring that boxes are also being filled for an older age group of children.

This years effort was led by Sixth Form student, Eve Davies, who worked hard  organising the collection and checking each box. She was very happy with the response and commented, Pupils and their parents have been particularly generous this year and we are glad that the gift filled boxes will be delivered to disadvantaged children worldwide.

Sharon Owen, Head of Lower School added,  Each year the families of pupils and staff are very supportive of this worthwhile cause, resulting this afternoon in a van loaded with boxes being taken across to the Wrexham distribution centre.
