Exciting Easter ahead at the School

This Easter the School has a wide variety of courses to keep children from the holiday blues. The courses run by sports centre manager, Chris Rogers, will commence on Monday 2nd April with a 2 day Rugby camp run by Old Ellesmerian, Sam Lewis. The course will be ideal to keep players in practice during the off season and provides an ideal opportunity for them to develop their skills and keep their fitness levels up. The rugby camp is suitable for children from 8 to 1 5 years and is just 50 for the 2 days.  For the children who want to spend all week having fun at the School for an additional 20 they can participate in Wednesday and Thursday's Multi- Activities.

From Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th April the ever popular Tennis camp provides the ideal preparation for the summer's tennis. The course will include tuition from the School's tennis Academy Director, Nikki Hoy, who will lead skills sessions during the morning to the players, and in the afternoon the group will be divided into teams to play a variety of matches against each other. The camp also includes fitness sessions to ensure the players are ready for the forthcoming season. The tennis camp is available for children aged 8 to 15 years old and is 120 for all 4 days or 35 a day.

Throughout the holidays there will be a Multi-Activities course available from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th April and Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th April. Multi-Activities includes taking part in a variety of activities.  The mornings consist of games, sports and swimming each day , and the afternoons consist of taking part in drama, arts and crafts and outdoor playground games. The programme is structured to meet the needs of the children who sign up and there are always a couple of options to take part in. Multi-Activities is suitable for children 8 to 13 years old and is 20 per day but the more days booked the cheaper it is.

In the second week of the holiday activities, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th April, Chris Rogers will be leading a pre-season cricket camp. The cricket camp will include technical sessions lead by ECB Level II Coaches with games to help the players improve before the season with club, county or school. For those older players net sessions will take place to prepare for the season. The cricket camp is 50 for the 2 days and Multi-Activities can be added for Thursday 12th and Friday 13th April for just 20. The cricket camp is suitable for children aged 8 to 15 years old.
