Ellesmere College Under 15 Rugby Team Succeed in National Competition

From the 500 schools participating in the 2009 Daily Mail School's U15 Rugby Cup, the Under 15 Ellesmere College Rugby Team are delighted to have now reached the last 64.

Following their last match against fellow Woodard School, Denstone College in Staffordshire, their 4th round in this year's national schools' rugby competition, the Ellesmere College Year 10 boys are faring particularly well. Mike Sampson, Under 15 Coach commented, 'the boys have risen to the occasion at each round so far. Clearly the opposition will improve in quality with each round and the team will be working to raise their game before the next round in one week's time.'
