Ellesmere College Choral Society 125th Anniversary Performance Huge Success

Ellesmere College Choral Society

Ellesmere College was alive with the sound of music last weekend when the Ellesmere College Choral Society presented Handel's Messiah to a packed audience in Big School, the School's impressive assembly hall.

Ellesmere College's Director of Music, Roger Paul conducted the performance which was performed by Ellesmere Choral Society. After the concert Roger Paul commented, 'I, and everyone connected with the Choral Society, were thrilled with the performance. The soloists and orchestra were excellent and they complemented the months of hard work that the Society has put into the rehearsals . Several of the College's Music Scholars performed in the orchestra, along with professional players, and this was a valuable experience for them too.'

The Ellesmere Choral Society meet at Ellesmere College from 7.30 - 9.00pm every Monday night during term and new members are always welcome.
