Having returned from this year's National Swimming and Open Water Championships on a high, the Titans and our swimming scholars were equally delighted with a set of outstanding GCSE results. The aggregate GCSE results of Titans swimmers and those pupils awarded swimming scholarships were as follows: A* - C grade, 100 per cent and A* - B 90%.
These exam results came on the back of unprecedented success both in the pool and open water at which Titans swimmers picked up two gold, three silver, and two bronze medals and won the overall top Open Water Club Award. Titans Director of Swimming Jon Pardoe said "These results are just fabulous - absolute vindication of my passionate belief that it is possible in the UK to achieve both sporting and academic goals. This balance between academic and swimming success has always been at the very heart of everything we do within the Titans and Ellesmere College."
