The Kepow! Theatre Company to visit Ellesmere College

Ellesmere College will be welcoming a National Theatre Company to perform a play seen at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Kepow! Is back, by popular demand! Kevin Tomlinson is returning to the Art Centre at Ellesmere College with his extraordinary improvisational skills in a new show called Unmasked. Sketches, improvisation, storytelling and even a light-heartened slide show will all feature in this shockingly honest, yet delightful show about life, death and  everything in between. The highlight of the performance will be Kevins skilful use of 17th Century Italian Commedia dellArte half masks and his entering into a mild trance, in order to play a range of different characters.

Richard Boswell, Director of Performing Arts commented; This is a performance in which sketches are created spontaneously and anything can - and does - happen. It will be an exciting and scary comedy theatre experience.

The performance is on Thursday 26th January at 7.30pm in the Arts Centre at Ellesmere College. Tickets are priced at 8.00 and 5 for concessions. Places can be reserved by calling the Ellesmere College Art Centre Box Office on 01691 622321.
