Sue Powell

Sue really enjoys the challenge of printmaking; in particular collagraphs worked over mono prints. The initial mono print sets the background with colours, forms and patterns on which to print the final intaglio layer. Sue sometimes uses gum arabic technique to transfer her own drawings of natural forms, achieving a much finer detail.

Birds and natural forms are a constant theme in Sue's work.
