Roger began his love affair with wood and sharp tools in 1991,
and is this year celebrating his 30th year as a woodcarver.
In 2014 Roger's adventure through life took a new direction
when he and his family moved onto a narrowboat to live and work aboard, and
cruise the inland waterways as roving traders.
Inspiration for Roger's work has come from many diverse
sources over the years, from the 'celtic' art of his ancestors, the fantastic
descriptions of unknown beasties, magical creatures and deities, to the
individual requirements of clients for bespoke commissions that have included
unique and personalised lovespoons and even a 'hippie duck weraing pink
wellies'.
