Rebecca Guyett

Since studying Graphic Design in greater Manchester, Rebecca moved to London where she became self employed, and designed pretty much everything from a coffee cup to a flower shop !! A few years ago she started to paint and exhibited her work around London. Since then she has been successful in selling her work and also completed many paintings to commission.

Many things inspire Rebecca - travelling, creative people, nature, photographs, a trip to Antropologie - amazing interiors. She is constantly taking photos, always thinking of ideas.... even a visit to the hardware store can start the creative juices flowing !!

Her design background and love of graphics and packaging and type influences her work... If Rebecca paints flowers often the vase is an old bottle or tin !!

Rebecca works in oils while the paint is wet, so lots of colours and shapes evolve in the process, in her oil paintings she chooses images which she would like to live with and hopes you enjoy them too.
