Emma Giles

Emma wants her illustrations and sculptures to draw people in , provoking curiosity. Although the subjects she draws are not true to life, there is still a strong sense of the familiar.

Emma is inspired by the natural world, and her everyday surroundings.

She mainly uses handmade paper for her illustrations which she makes herself by using old bill's and letters, and using found objects and old wood for the base for her sculptures.

Emma works from her studio which is based in a little village in mid Wales. She studied in Carmarthen earning herself a BA Hons Degree in Ceramics, 3D design and Philosophy.
