Notes

Sports scholarship and Music and Drama assessments can be arranged when appropriate during the Michaelmas, Lent and Summer terms. An individual visit to the school is highly recommended for all families before beginning any such application to Ellesmere.

All candidates joining Lower School are required to attend a taster day. Pupils entering Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 are required to sit the College entrance exam. Years 3, 4 and 5 will sit tests in class. For all International Students, an interview is part of the entry requirements along with a Maths and English examination.

*Sixth Form candidates do not sit an entrance exam instead they receive a conditional offer based on their GCSE results. Sixth Form students applying for an academic scholarship are required to attend an interview with the Head of Sixth Form. Please contact the Admissions Office to arrange this. Admissions@ellesmere.com
