A Level
At present there are approximately 200 boys and girls studying from a range of more than 24 subjects.
Most will go on to University with some taking a GAP year to widen their experience of the world.
We believe it is important that students be allowed every opportunity to express their own views and develop ideas in Sixth Form classes and seminars.
A range of subjects are available at A Level or students may choose to pursue their advanced studies through the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (available as both a 2 year and 3 year course under the AFEC WAoS programme) or the BTEC National Diploma in Sport (also available as the Extended Diploma).
Students wishing to follow a programme of A Levels must achieve a minimum of five grade 4/5 passes at GCSE. A higher standard is required for entry to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma course, typically 6 grade 6 passes.
