Ellesmere College U13 Football Team Triumphs at St George’s Park

Ellesmere College’s Under-13 Football Academy team enjoyed an unforgettable weekend at St George’s Park, the home of England Football, competing in a prestigious two-day tournament that brought together some of the best young talent in the country.

The team not only showcased their skill and determination but also claimed victory in the Plate Competition, capping off a hugely successful event.

A World-Class Experience

St George’s Park is the national football centre and training base for all England teams, from youth squads to the senior men’s and women’s sides. Over the weekend, our students had the unique opportunity to train and play on the same pitches used by England internationals, stay overnight at the venue, and experience the life of a professional footballer.

From walking through the same corridors as England stars to using elite facilities, the players gained a real insight into what it takes to perform at the highest level.
