Ellesmere College Carol Service: A Magical Start to Christmas

Ellesmere College proudly marked the beginning of the festive season with a series of spectacular Carol Service, bringing together our community in celebration and song.

The festivities began on Thursday, 27th November, with our Community Carol Service, attended by the Mayor of Ellesmere, the High Sheriff of Shropshire, and over 400 members of the local community. This wonderful evening set the tone for Christmas at Ellesmere, followed by refreshments in Big School and delightful musical accompaniment from our talented orchestra.

On Friday evening, the spotlight turned to Talbot and Woodard Competitive Houses and the celebrations continued on Sunday, with Wakeman-Lambart and Meynell Houses taking centre stage for the third service. Finally, on Monday, our Lower School pupils and their families enjoyed the last of the four magical evenings, rounding off a truly memorable series.

We extend a huge thank you to our choir and dedicated music staff for their incredible efforts and commitment in making these concerts such a special and popular event. Likewise, our heartfelt thanks go to the many families and friends of the College who joined us in welcoming Christmas to Ellesmere.
