Congratulations to Phillips – Champions of the 2026 Lower School House Quiz

Our 2026 Lower School House Quiz proved to be an exciting and closely contested competition, with all teams demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination, and an impressive knowledge throughout the afternoon.

Students battled right to the very end as they tackled a wide range of questions carefully crafted by Mr Crawford. From general knowledge and current affairs to tricky brain teasers and problem-solving challenges, every round kept both participants and spectators fully engaged. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as teams worked together under pressure to earn valuable points for their houses.

In the end, it was Phillips who emerged victorious, thanks to a standout performance from Harry, Arthur, and Martha. Their quick thinking, strong teamwork, and consistent scoring across the rounds secured the title, making them worthy champions of this year’s competition.

A number of particularly challenging questions managed to stump every team, prompting plenty of laughter and lively discussion afterwards. However, the quiz was about far more than simply finding the right answers. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to develop confidence, collaborate with their peers, and enjoy the challenge of applying their knowledge in a supportive environment.

A huge well done to all of the students who took part for their enthusiasm, resilience, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the event. Thank you also to Mr Crawford for organising such an entertaining and engaging afternoon; his ingenious questions certainly kept everyone thinking until the very last round!
