新年快乐 | Happy Chinese New Year!
We celebrated the Chinese New Year a little early this year due to the half-term break. To mark the Year of the Horse, our students who attend Chinese lessons hosted a dumpling-making afternoon.
Dumplings are an important Chinese tradition, as their shape resembles ancient gold ingots and symbolises wealth and good health. Making and eating dumplings is believed to bring fortune and health to the year ahead.
It was a wonderful celebration filled with delicious food, festive spirit, and plenty of fun.
