Academic Lecture with an OE

Academic Lecture with an OE

We were pleased to host our final Academic Lecture of the year, featuring an inspiring contribution from Year 12 student Vlada, who explored the fascinating concept of the Twin Paradox. Her talk not only demonstrated academic curiosity but also encouraged fellow students to delve into subjects that genuinely spark their interest.

We were also delighted to welcome back Old Ellesmerian Lewis Hall, who completed his Sixth Form at Ellesmere in 2017 before going on to study Medicine and Surgery at the University of Birmingham. Lewis shared valuable insights into his journey into pancreatic cancer research, highlighting the importance of pursuing your passions and committing fully to the areas that inspire you.

Now preparing to begin a PhD, Lewis continues to build on his impressive academic path.

Our sincere thanks to both Vlada and Lewis for their engaging, thought-provoking, and encouraging lectures.
