A Warm Welcome at Ellesmere College – Open Morning Highlights

On Saturday, Ellesmere  opened its doors to families from near and far for our much-anticipated Open Morning — and what a wonderful day it was!

Visitors were greeted with a warm welcome and had the chance to explore our beautiful campus, meet our dedicated staff and engage with pupils who proudly shared their experiences of life at Ellesmere. From academic departments to co-curricular activities, families were able to see the breadth and depth of opportunities available to every student.

Throughout the morning, guests enjoyed guided tours, interactive classroom sessions and lively conversations with teachers, house staff, and senior leaders. Our pupils were at the heart of the event, showcasing their talents, enthusiasm, and genuine pride in their school, whether through musical performances, sports demonstrations, or simply chatting with families about their day-to-day lives at Ellesmere.

The event provided a real insight into the inclusive, nurturing, and ambitious environment that defines our community. We hope all who attended left with a clear sense of what makes Ellesmere so special, a place where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
