Rugby stars at a Shropshire college are set to touch down in South America as they go on their first tour in the continent.
Thirty players from Ellesmere College will head to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil this week to perfect their skills and take in the sights.

Ellesmere College were delighted to be finalists in the largest national youth choir competition in the UK. Attracting entries from over 350 schools, 7 senior choirs were given the opportunity to perform on stage at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, the country’s best concert hall. Eventually it came down to a single mark that divided four of the choirs in contention, underlining the high standards achieved by the choirs.

A team from Ellesmere College has lifted a national pistol shooting title – a record fourth success in as many years for the Shropshire school.
The win at the national final of the British Shooting Schools Pistol Championships follows on from impressive showings by the three students both individually and as a team at the regional championships at the end of last year.
