Ellesmere College is a fully co-educational school set in the beautiful English countryside. Founded in 1884, the school offers students between the ages of 7 to 18 the chance to achieve success in both their studies and a wide range of activities, including music, art, sport and drama, in a happy, friendly atmosphere.
Great Britain has a world-wide reputation for its high standards of education and here at Ellesmere College we support that tradition by concentrating on the academic and social needs of every student. We prepare students for their GCSEs, A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate as well as giving them the opportunity to enjoy a full and varied sports and social programme.
Standing in its own stunning grounds covering more than 50 hectares, the school is conveniently located near the small, historic town of Ellesmere, and is less than 100 kilometres from both of England's second major cities, Manchester and Birmingham. This ideal location means students can benefit from the vast range of activities both cities have to offer whilst living and studying in a tranquil English country setting.
