Sixth Form students, Jo Bowen, from Much Wenlock and Hannah Clarke from Wem, have been playing tennis since they were 9 years old under the guidance of Nikki Hoy, Tennis Academy Director.  Jo joined the School in Year 7 and is now in the Upper Sixth studying for her A levels. She is the Girls Tennis Captain and a School Prefect.  Hannah, in the Lower Sixth, also joined Ellesmere in Year 7 and is studying the International Baccalaureate. They have been selected to represent at County level at every age group from U10.

Nikki commented, Both these girls have worked hard to develop their tennis skills and deserve the further recognition that this selection has given them. We wish them every success in this forthcoming County Senior representation.
