Team to Participate in 2010 Royal Society Chemistry Quiz

A Chemistry team have been entered into this year’s national schools’ Chemistry Quiz organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Two Year 11 pupils, Sophie Osborne and Christian Cieslik, will be competing alongside Bethany Lyttle and John Paul from Year 10 on Tuesday 26th January, when the School hosts the first regional round of the Competition.  The four promising young scientists are looking forward to representing the School in their draw against a team from Shrewsbury School.

Dr. Tom Gareh, Head of Science commented, ‘The four talented young scientists who have been chosen to represent the School are very enthusiastic about Chemistry and are looking forward to this new challenge.  Win or lose, they will have fun and that is half the battle.’
