Ellesmere College Lower School Choir Performs Christmas Concert at Age Concern Day Centre

For the fifth year, pupils who sing in the Ellesmere College Lower School Choir visited their local Age Concern Day Centre to perform a variety of Christmas songs and carols.

The pupils, aged between 8 and 13 years old, sang a variety of traditional and modern festive pieces. There was much audience participation and after the concert, the pupils were served refreshments and had the opportunity to chat to the Day Centre members.

Joan Tudor, the Ellesmere Day Centre Organiser commented, 'The Day Centre members always look forward to the visit by the Lower School Choir. They are always very enthusiastic to entertain us all with their singing and their visit is much appreciated by all of us.'
