Two Sixth Form Students to Participate in National ‘Lessons from Auschwitz Project’
It has recently been confirmed by the Holocaust Educational Trust that two Year 12 Students have been selected to participate in the 2010 Holocaust Educational Trust ‘Lessons from Auschwitz’ project. James McCarthy and Luke Ottoway, both studying History at A-level, will be participating in the national project during the Easter holidays, which will include a seminar that will explore pre-war Jewish life in Germany and prepare the two students for their visit to Poland. Academy Day a Huge Success
Saturday was a particularly busy day at the School when the Headmaster, Academy Directors and their teams welcomed over 100 families from all over the country to the School’s second Academy Day. Former GAP Student Returns to Run Drama Workshops
This week has seen the return of a former Theatre GAP Student to run a series of A level and GCSE drama workshops. Playing rugby has been part of Old Ellesmerian Sam Lewis’ life since he started school and soon afterwards joined Shrewsbury Rugby Club. Tennis Teams Success at National Schools' Final
