Examination Success
Congratulations to all our pupils who gained successful examination results at Advanced, AS and GCSE levels this year. Whilst there were many high-lights and individual performances of great merit we are pleased to see that at A Level in excess of 70% of the examinations resulted in grades A to C with some 46% A or B grades.

Web Site developments
The site will be developed in the next few weeks to make it possible to provide a better service for current parents as regards events at Ellesmere and to allow the addition of photographs to accompany news items. The addition of a Calendar of Events (essentially the School Calendar)with the ability to up date as the term develops is intended to help parents of current pupils keep track of dates and times should they be changed - of course it does depend upon the up dating taking place at this...

Fishing for the big one!

Chess Champions
PRESS RELEASE ELLESMERE COLLEGE CHESS CHAMPS Four pupils from Ellesmere College took part recently in the Regional round of the National Schools Chess Championships. Girls Tennis Summary
PRESS RELEASE TENNIS SUCCESS Girls tennis at Ellesmere College is producing excellent results. In recent weeks the have won many of their matches. 1st VI played Denstone and won 8 matches to 1. Against Bridgewater High School won 5 matches to 1 and have gone into the 4th round of the Aberdare Cup. The team members are: Gemma Torrence Naomi Challinor Fiona Levitt Aelish Crellin.
