A year 8 pupil has recently been presented with a Highly Commended Certificate for the butterfly carrier he designed as his entry for a national packaging design competition. Ellesmere College was given the opportunity to host the Kwik sponsored 2010 North Shropshire Primary Schools’ Cricket Festival which was held earlier this week at Ellesmere College and played in glorious weather. Pupils Organise Plant Sale in aid of Tanzanian Charity

Over the last few weeks there has been much plant growing activity as the School’s gardening activity group have been preparing for a plant sale in aid of the Tanzanian charity, Monduli Green. Following the installation of a grow-dome both the School’s gardening activity group and the wildlife garden have benefited.
