Audience Thrilled by 3 Choirs Concert

Lower School Pupil Receives Accolade for Packaging Designs
A year 8 pupil has recently been presented with a Highly Commended Certificate for the butterfly carrier he designed as his entry for a national packaging design competition. Ellesmere College was given the opportunity to host the Kwik sponsored 2010 North Shropshire Primary Schools’ Cricket Festival which was held earlier this week at Ellesmere College and played in glorious weather. Pupils Organise Plant Sale in aid of Tanzanian Charity
Over the last few weeks there has been much plant growing activity as the School’s gardening activity group have been preparing for a plant sale in aid of the Tanzanian charity, Monduli Green. Following the installation of a grow-dome both the School’s gardening activity group and the wildlife garden have benefited. Tennis Academy Teams Enjoy Successful Start to Season
Both boys and girls from the School’s Tennis Academy have made an excellent start to the summer season of competitions. Both Under 19 Girls’ Teams are still involved in the Aberdare Cup. Open Day Huge Success
On Sunday record numbers of families visited the School for the annual summer Open Day, keeping staff and pupils busy escorting visitors around the School. Pupil Attends Scottish U15 Football Training Camp
During the Easter holidays Year 9 Ellesmere College pupil, Fraser Murdoch participated in the Scotland U15 Squad Training Camp that was held at the Sport Scotland National Centre in Largs.Fraser who lives just inside the Welsh border in Rossett but was born in Scotland, joined Ellesmere College in 2007.
