The senior girls have been busy this week with their St. Valentine's Day fundraising efforts.

Girls in Ellesmere's Middle School House, St. Aidan's, organised a St. Valentine's event on Thursday which included a treasure hunt, with chocolates being hidden around the main quadrangle. A cake sale during a break-time period was also held with heart-shaped ginger cookies and individual chocolate cakes which were especially made for the occasion. Proceeds from both events exceeded £100 and will be sent to Comic Relief.

Sixth Form recent fundraising activities are focused on raising funds for their Leavers' Ball at the end of the Summer Term. Over the last couple of weeks orders have been taken and Head Girl, Abigail Merrill, has been busily organising the preparation of over 100 red roses and carnations which were distributed to pupils and staff alike on the last Friday before half-term.
