Conservatory Added to Sixth Form Common Room

The Sixth Form at Ellesmere is enjoying a new spacious conservatory which has been added to their communal social area.

The increase in number of students entering the Sixth Form at Ellesmere College has been the catalyst for a conservatory to be added to the existing Sixth Form Common Room and the creation of a dedicated Sixth Form IT Room.

The conservatory, built by the Shrewsbury based firm, Heritage Glass, Shrewsbury has been well received by the Sixth Formers. Besides having the opportunity to input into the final choice of colour schemes for the carpet and furnishings, during break times and evenings, they are now enjoying relaxing on the spacious leather sofas.

Philip Wood, Head of Sixth Form, commented,'The Sixth Form Club provides a key area for relaxation for students who, of course, are focused on their academic priorities.'
