Lot 25 Wembley Programme

Wembley Stadium A unique collectors item. The match programme from the last game to be played at Wembley Stadium before it was bulldozed for redevelopment, signed by the entire England Squad that day.

The match was England v Germany in October 2000. It was historic not just because of Wembleys farewell, but also because Kevin Keegan, the England manager, resigned immediately after the game.

This is a piece of memorabilia unmatched in football history. Only one programme from that game, signed by the full squad, exists. On E-Bay, the programme would attract bids in the thousands. Signed by the 18-man squad including such luminaries as Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, David Seaman, Robbie Fowler, Paul Scholes, Paul Ince, Steve McManaman, Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham, the programme is also signed by German international striker Oliver Bierhoff. The signatures were collected in the players lounge immediately after the match and come complete with a letter of authenticity, signed by the journalist who was allowed access to the lounge for this charity prize. Never before has such a rare item come up for auction. Dont miss the chance to own a piece of English football history.

Lot 27 In The Net!

A framed picture of Wayne Rooney scoring his first ever goal for England, complete with his signature.

Rooney burst onto the scene for his country as a 17 year old and scored his first goal against FYR Macedonia on 6th September 2003 in the Gradski Stadium, Skopje. This picture depicts that moment which is destined to be one of the most famous in English football history.

A unique lot, as Rooney refuses to sign any items unless they are dedicated personally to a named person, because of the high premium his signature commands for people profiting on E-Bay, but in a concession to Ellesmere College and his willingness to help tonights fund-raising cause, he has signed the picture of his goal against Macedonia with his name only, making this a rare almost unique item and a very valuable on as well.
