Golf
Ellesmere College has a picturesque 9-hole golf course integral to the School.
The par 30 course, which is situated on the north edge of the School’s grounds, is used by a large number of student, staff and members. Students have the opportunity to play the course at their leisure as well as participating in weekly practice sessions.
PGA Professional David Skelton visits the course to work with students of all ages. Lower School students take part in beginner sessions with David and senior students develop their skills on the course.
The School’s senior team participate each year in the Independent Schools Golf Association Cup and this year narrowly lost to Clifton College at Enville Golf Club.
