At the conclusion of Year 9 (Key Stage 3) pupils choose four options from a wide range of subjects which, together with the core curriculum of Mathematics, English Language and Literature and all three Sciences, are studied to GCSE.

There is a separate one-year pre-sixth form course available for overseas pupils who aspire to join the Sixth Form but need to complete their compulsory schooling first and wish to do so in the UK.
